From time to time, Pause 4 Paws finds itself in a unique position. Although we are not a rescue organization, there are moments when a volunteer, foster, or trusted partner rescues a stray cat—or we learn of a cat in a vulnerable or urgent situation.
When no rescue group can step in, we do everything we can to find a safe, loving foster home for the cat while we search for their forever family and if one is not found, we treat them medically and the adoption process begins.

Scruffles – Affectionate, outgoing, and sweet. Scruffles loves other cats, though we are unsure how he feels about dogs.
Morgan – A social guy who gets along well with cats and dogs. He loves attention and is not shy about asking for it! Big personality with lots to say. He had an eye surgically removed prior to being in our care and he also enjoys “helping” with dinner. More info here.
Bennett – His fosters call him the “perfect” cat. Stunning and pure joy. He has not been around dogs in foster care but loves his people.
Wilford – A vocal and protective kitty who enjoys attention and watches over the other cats in his foster home. He has not been around dogs that we know of. More info here.
Melody – A sweet 15 year old. She is slow to warm up, but once she does, she will steal your heart. She does well with both cats and dogs. More info here.
Asher & Cinder – A bonded pair of playful, curious brothers who love wrestling and exploring together. These two need to be adopted as a duo. More info here.
